Simple Choice Eliminator
Options disappear from your Google Form the moment they’re booked or sold out — so you never double-book a time slot or oversell a product again.
Appointment time slots
Stop overbooking appointments. Offer appointment slots in a dropdown or multiple-choice question, and Choice Eliminator automatically removes booked slots — preventing double bookings and saving you time.
- Real-time availability: respondents only ever see slots that are still open.
- Flexible limits: set an individual limit for each slot, or one generic limit for all.
- Better experience: no confusion or frustration from picking something that’s already full.
Selling through a Google Form
Turn an order form into a simple shop. Set limits on product quantities, and Choice Eliminator dynamically hides unavailable options so you never oversell. Respondents see only what’s left, for a smooth ordering experience.
How it works
- Install the add-on and open it from the Simple Choice Eliminator menu inside the Google Forms editor.
- Pick the dropdown or multiple-choice question you want to limit.
- Set a limit per option, or one limit for the whole question.
- As responses come in, filled options are hidden automatically.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
A few known issues come from Google itself or from having several Google accounts signed in at once — here’s how to clear them.
Only the “Help” menu item appears
This is a known Google issue, outside the add-on’s control. Simply reload the page — all of the Choice Eliminator menu items should then appear correctly.
“drive.google.com refuses to connect” in the sidebar
This one is also outside the add-on’s scope. It typically happens when multiple Google accounts are signed in to the same browser.
- Log out of all Google accounts except the one you’re using for the add-on, or
- Use a different browser, or switch to an incognito / private window.
The sidebar appears blank
Same cause as above — multiple Google accounts signed in to the browser, not a fault of the add-on.
- Sign out of all other Google accounts except the one being used for the add-on, or
- Try a different browser, or use an incognito / private window.
Choices aren’t limited correctly (too early, too late, or not at all)
This usually means more than one choice-limiting add-on is installed (for example Choice Eliminator Lite). To avoid conflicts, use only Simple Choice Eliminator and uninstall any other similar tools.
